According to our sister company Admiral, one in ten people have a speeding conviction on their licence and according to Admiral’s research, where you live could affect your chances of having one.
Admiral looked at stats from the last 5 years to see which postcodes have the highest percentage of speeding convictions. They found those living in parts of Dorset, Surrey and Hertfordshire are the most likely to have a speeding fine. The area for the lowest number of speeding fines appeared to be St Ives in Cornwall according to Admiral’s statistics. A speeding conviction may push your insurance up and add points to your licence for 3 years. |
