Top 10 most annoying driving habits

We are all probably guilty of bad driving habits and we can all get stressed when driving. At Gladiator we searched the web to find out the top 10 driving habits that sometimes annoy us.

1st place:
Tailgating

We found that the top most annoying driving habit is tailgating.

Driving too close to the vehicle in front is the biggest threat on UK roads. Dangerous habits like this can increase the chance of a collision and may result in a hefty increase in your renewal premium.

2nd place:
Failing to signal/ indicate

Second from top in our findings for the most annoying driving habit is failing to signal.

Although not indicating is not against the law in the U.K it can be extremely annoying for fellow drivers not to mention downright dangerous. Popular advice suggests for the safest approach to this habit is not to assume you know which direction your fellow drivers are going and keep your distance.

3rd place:
Others using mobile phones

Third from the top we found driving whilst using a mobile phone was one habit which annoyed people the most. Using a mobile phone whilst driving can leave you with a fine of up to £60 and 3 points added to your licence. This then will have a knock on effect on your van insurance as it can increase your renewal premium.
