Employers’ Liability provides cover if an employee suffers an accident, injury or illness as a result of their work, leading to a lawsuit or compensation claim.
As well as protecting your staff, Employers’ Liability insurance also looks after you and your business. Every UK Employers’ Liability policy provides at least the legal minimum £5million cover – however, Gladiator’s policies provide £10million as standard. Since these costs might otherwise have to be paid by your business, it’s crucial to get the correct cover in place.
Employers’ Liability insurance policies can't be bought on their own. Instead, they're combined with a Public Liability Insurance policy. This is what we refer to as Tradesman Insurance.
