Our claims process

In the unfortunate event of an incident you can rest assured that your claim will be dealt with quickly and efficiently. We understand this can be a stressful time for you so have provided the following information to help make our claims process clearer.

What to do?

In order to process your claim as efficiently as possible please try and have the following to hand when you make your initial call:

  • Client reference number (Gladiator are the Broker, this number will be located on any correspondence from us and will allow Auxillis Limited to verify your information)
  • Underwriting company name and policy number (these details will provide Auxillis Limited with information regarding your policy underwriters)
  • Policy start and expiry dates
  • Your level of cover (Third Party, Third Party Fire and Theft, Comprehensive). The above information can be found on your Certificate of Motor Insurance
  • Details of any extra cover you may have (Legal Cover, Van Hire etc), this can be found in your welcome pack
  • The date and time of the incident

Claims advice

  • Report any incidents to the claims team within 48 hours of the event. This is regardless of whether you intend to claim or not.
  • If there is a third party involved take their details (name, address, registration number etc)
  • If any witnesses can give an accurate account of the incident take their name and address
  • Make a sketch showing the positions of any vehicles involved and the landmarks around the incident site (junctions, traffic lights etc)
  • If the police attend take the name, badge number and station of the officers attending the scene
  • If the vehicle is stolen contact the police to notify them first and note down your crime reference number

Tools Claims

How do I claim?

Provided you have the necessary cover, in the event your tools or stock are stolen, you must notify the police immediately in order to validate a claim. You will also need to provide your certificate when submitting a claim. Call 0161 235 3161
