Bedford Van Insurance

Bedford was the commercial vehicle arm of Vauxhall and produced three well known vehicles. Firstly there was the Bedford Rascal. This was a very small van with a tiny engine. It is similar in load carrying capacity as smaller car derived vans such as the Ford Fiesta or the newer Vauxhall Corsa. The rascal was produced in both a van and Pick-Up version. Due to the size, both may enable you to obtain a cheap van insurance quote.

Bedford also produced the early models of Astravan. These vans provided a slightly larger payload than the Rascal and performance not too dissimilar to the Astra car. Some of these are still on the road and although they can be slightly more expensive to insure than the rascal, they can still be a lot cheaper than a larger panel van.

Bedford released a Panel van in the form of the CF. It had limited success due to the domination of the Transit van, and it is rare to find these on the road. As you can imagine these vehicles are generally the most expensive of the Bedford range when it comes to van insurance.
